Examination and Internal Assessment System at IMRD
The examination system of institute is designed to ensure fairness, transparency, and continuous academic evaluation for UG programs and PG programs. The institute follows a structured Internal Assessment (IA) framework aligned with the guidelines of KBC North Maharashtra University.
The Internal Assessment system evaluates students through multiple academic components, including Credit Test I, Credit Test II, Best of Two Credit Test Score, Attendance, Assignments, and Participation in Outcome-Based Activities (OBA). This approach promotes continuous learning and encourages students to stay actively engaged throughout the semester.
Two internal credit tests are conducted during the semester, and the higher score of the two tests is considered for calculating internal marks. Additional marks are awarded based on class attendance, timely assignment submission, and participation in academic activities.
To maintain transparency, provisional internal marks are displayed, allowing students to submit grievances within a stipulated period before final marks are declared. The entire process is monitored by the Examination Committee, faculty members, class teachers, and the Head of Department, ensuring accuracy and academic integrity.
This structured examination system supports continuous assessment, academic discipline, and quality education at IMRD.
