Objective :

The National Service Scheme (NSS) Orientation Program was organized to introduce new volunteers to the NSS initiative, its objectives, and the activities they will be engaged in. The program aimed to inspire and motivate the students to actively participate in community service, foster social responsibility, and instill a sense of empathy and compassion towards the less privileged.

The orientation program commenced with a formal inauguration ceremony. Dignitaries from the Institute's, faculty, and NSS committee graced the event. The NSS Program Officer addressed the gathering, extending a warm welcome to the new NSS volunteers and expressing their gratitude for their willingness to serve the community.

The NSS program's significance and history were presented to the attendees, enlightening them about the objectives of NSS, its role in community development, and the impact it has had over the years. The previous year's NSS committee members shared their experiences and highlighted the various activities and projects they undertook during their tenure. This was aimed at inspiring the new volunteers and giving them an idea of the diverse range of community-centric initiatives they could be a part of NSS. Informative and interactive sessions were conducted by NSS faculty coordinators to explain the structure of the NSS program, roles and responsibilities of volunteers, and guidelines for organizing events and initiatives. It was also an opportunity for the new volunteers to clarify any doubts they had regarding their participation. Fun, ice-breaking activities and team-building exercises were organized to help the new volunteers bond with each other and feel comfortable in their new role.

The program concluded with a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to the successful organization of the orientation program.

This event was successfully organized by NSS Unit and Induction Committee of Institute under the guidance of Dr. Vaishali B. Patil, Director, RCPETs IMRD, Shirpur. To make this event successful, NSS program officer Mr. Yogesh Shethiya and NSS Unit members Mr. Vijay Garge, Mrs. Monali Kirange, Mr. Vitthal Patil and volunteers, took efforts.
