Ek Rakhi Jawanansathi

Event Title : Ek Rakhi Jawanansathi Initiative by SES and R.C. Patel Educational Trust Students

Participants : 250 Girl Students with NSS Volunteers, Committee and Staff Members
Objective : The primary goal of this campaign was to express social support and love
towards the soldiers, honour their courage and dedication in the operation ‘SINDOOR’.

Introduction:
The students from Shirpur Education Society and R.C. Patel Educational Trust, along with their affiliated schools and colleges, actively participated in the social campaign titled “Shirdi to Srinagar – Ek Rakhi Jawanansathi, organized by Sanjeevani Yuva Pratishthan,
Kopargaon. This initiative, carried out on the sacred occasion of Raksha Bandhan, aimed to send patriotic rakhi threads and heartfelt messages to the brave soldiers guarding the borders of the nation. Enthusiastic response by students of Shirpur Education Society and R.C. Patel
Educational Trust to the “Ek Rakhi Jawanansathi” social initiative supported by NSS Unit, RCPET’s IMRD Unit to foster a sense of pride and social responsibility among the youth towards the nation and its defenders. The primary goal of this campaign was to express social support and love towards the soldiers, honor their courage and dedication, and provide them with moral and emotional encouragement through messages and rakhi threads sent by the students. By doing so, the campaign aimed to foster a sense of pride and social responsibility among the youth towards

Participation and Contribution:
The initiative was formally inaugurated by Mr. Vivekbhaiya Bipindada Kolhe, the founder of Sanjeevani Yuva Pratishthan, setting the tone for a meaningful and heart-touching campaign. Students from Shirpur Education Society and R.C. Patel Educational Trust, along with various associated schools and colleges, enthusiastically contributed by preparing and sending rakhi threads along with sincere messages for the soldiers. This active participation encapsulated a vivid demonstration of patriotism and social commitment by the young generation.

The event garnered the presence and support of notable institute representatives and
volunteers, including:

 Mrs. Smita Panchbhai (Principal, M.R. Patel English Medium School)
 Volunteers of the Sanjeevani Yuva Pratishthan, Kopargaon : Shri Mayur Cholake, Shri
Vishal Gorde, Shri Bharat Patil, Shri Yogesh Badal, Shri Virpal Rajput, Prem Patil.
 Students of the institutes, colleges and schools.
Additionally, several faculty members from R.C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Mukeshbhai Patel English Medium school were also present to endorse the initiative.

Welcoming Ceremony:
The student body of M.R. Patel Military School conducted a ceremonial procession that marked the formal welcome of the initiative, lending a patriotic and disciplined atmosphere to the occasion.

Program Highlights:
Best wishes on behalf of Shirpur Education Society and R.C. Patel Educational Trust as being Shri. Rajgopalji Bhandari, worshipped the Rakhi Rath (Chariot) and also tied Rakhi on the hand of the symbolic image of the chariot. The campaign involved sending rakhi threads and emotional messages from students to the courageous soldiers protecting the borders, symbolizing the bond of protection and respect on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan.
 Mr. Kiran Thakre highlighted the importance and necessity of this initiative on behalf of Sanjeevani Yuva Pratishthan, emphasizing the social and emotional support soldiers receive through such acts.
 Shri. Rajgopalji Bhandari expressed heartfelt love for the soldiers and extended a message of social honor and respect towards them.
 Young students, Ms. Kalyani Borse and Ms. Aditi Shinde from R.C. Patel Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, voiced their social commitment to the soldiers, spreading positive values in society.
 Dr. Yogesh Shethiya NSS Unit Program Officer, Dr. Manoj Behere (Asst. Director and HoD, MCA – IMCA Dept.), Dr. Manoj Patel (IQAC Co-ordinator), Dr. Tushar Patel (HoD, UG Dept.), Mr. Sumit Sagale (Registrar) and Mr. Kaustubha Sawant of R.C. Patel IMRD contributed their cooperation in the successful organization of the event.
 The event was expertly coordinated and anchored by Prof. Vijay Garge.

Impact and Significance:
This initiative has served as a powerful catalyst for instilling patriotic values among the youth and strengthening the social commitment towards the soldiers. It reinforced community responsibility and fostered emotional bonding between students and the nation’s defenders. The campaign successfully bridged the distance between civilians and soldiers by allowing young students to express gratitude and moral support, making the soldiers feel remembered and cherished.

Conclusion:
The “Ek Rakhi Jawanansathi” drive, supported extensively by the students and faculty of Shirpur Education Society and R.C. Patel Educational Trust, demonstrated a remarkable integration of social awareness, patriotism, and youth participation. The heartfelt involvement of students in sending rakhis and messages has reinforced a spirit of unity and respect towards the armed forces, highlighting the role of educational institutions in nation-building through such meaningful socio-cultural programs.
