Event Details:
The National Youth Parliament Event, themed “Achieving Gender Equality, Action by Action”, was held from September 15th to 17th, 2026, at the Indira Gandhi Panchayati Raj & Rural Development Institute Central Hall in Jaipur. The aimed National Youth Parliament to provide young students with a platform to voice their opinions on critical social issues, develop leadership and communication skills, and encourage active participation in democratic processes.
Students were invited to prepare a 3-5 minutes video clip presenting their views on the given theme. The submitted videos were subsequently evaluated by the concerned university authorities.
Following the selection process, Samruddhi Nikam and Mayur Shimpi, students of TYBCA, were selected among the 10 students representing KBC North Maharashtra University, Jalgaon at the National Youth Parliament Event in Jaipur. The selected students were given an
opportunity to present their views on the theme.
The participation of Samruddhi Nikam and Mayur Shimpi in this prestigious national-level event was a matter of great pride for the students, their participation provided an valuable opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, confidence, communication skills, and commitment to promoting gender equality.
Student Development Department of IMRD extend heartfelt congratulations to both students on their successful participation. Their representation at this national-level event was a proud achievement for the students.
