Industrial Visit at Infosys, Pune 2019-2020
Training and Placement cell of IMRD was organized an Industrial visit at Infosys, Pune on 29th FEB 2020 for MMS1st, MMS 2nd, BCA 2nd, BBA 2nd and BMS 2nd year students. Total 71 students participated in this event. The objective of this visit was to make the students aware about the IT industry. Students should get knowledge about work culture of IT industry, Infrastructure and campus facilities provided by company. From 4 years the team of Infosys conducted 15 days skill development program for all UG students at IMRD and hence this visit is also a part of student connect program. This industrial visit organized in association with Infosys. Mr. Joseph Monis, Senior Member – Learning & Development Diversity and CSR Office and his team invited our institute for the industrial visit. During this visit the HR team conducted a two hour session for all the students on various aspects regarding career related issues of the students. While giving a speech Mr. Joseph praised IMRD with a special note on the honest working of the director and the staff members. All the students and faculty members visited different location of Infosys like employee working area, Health Centres, Food Courts etc. The overall infrastructure was just exceptionally beautiful. All the students enjoyed this outing and industrial visit. This was really nice opportunity given by Infosys to IMRD students to visit the largest Multinational IT company . The whole event was managed by HOD of UG Mr. Tushar Patel, HOD of MMS Dr. Manoj Patel ,Training and Placement officer Mrs. Archana Jade and Mr. Manoj Patel.
