Event Details :-
The CSI Student Branch of the Institute organized a Project Development Competition on 17th March 2026 for MCA-I Year and MCA (Integrated) III Year students. A total of 42 UG MCA (Integrated) students participated individually in the competition. MCA First Year students participated in group format, where 40 groups were formed comprising 170 students. Overall, a total of 212 students enthusiastically participated in the competition. The participants prepared and presented innovative mini projects in areas such as web applications, mobile apps, artificial intelligence, cyber security, smart services, healthcare, and education.
The projects demonstrated the students’ technical understanding, creativity,and practical problem-solving abilities. The competition was inaugurated by the IQAC Coordinator of the Institute, Dr. Manoj Patel sir, and the Head of UG Department Dr. Tushar Patel sir in the presence of the Assistant Director and Head of MCA & MCA (Integrated) Department Dr. Manoj Behere sir. The dignitaries visited each project, interacted with the students, appreciated their efforts, and encouraged them to explore advanced technologies. The competition was conducted for undergraduate and postgraduate level students. The undergraduate projects were evaluated by Mr. Mahesh Bhavsar, Mr. Vinod Mahajan, Dr. Manoj Sonawane, and Mr. Vishal Pawar, while the postgraduate projects were evaluated by Dr. Amit Patil, Mr. Vitthal Patil, Mrs. Dhanashree Patil, and Ms. Dipali Nhalade, Assistant Professors at IMRD. The judges assessed the projects based on relevance to the Role & Contribution, Technical Work/Implementation, Understanding of Project, Innovation/Problem Solving, Documentation & Presentation Participation, and the participants’ ability to confidently answer questions.
